Focus and Scope

Indian Journal of Science is a peer-reviewed open-access multidisciplinary scientific journal covering all areas of basic sciences. The journal provides an academic platform for professionals and researchers to contribute innovative work in the broad fields of mathematical, physical, chemical and life sciences.

It serves as a forum for exchange of views and ideas among working scientists and theorists of science and it seeks to promote and disseminate the knowledge by publishing original research findings, review articles, analysis, case study, methods, research reports, case report, perspectives, algorithm, opinion and communications in the broad field of basic sciences.

Publication Frequency

Indian Journal of Science published quarterly (4 issues per year) on regular basis. All papers are published as soon as they have been accepted, by adding them to the "current" volume's Table of Contents.

Open Access Policy

The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. It is available online for FREE to all readers. No pre-registration is required and there are no 'logins' and 'passwords'.
