Mathematical modelling of surface roughness in hard turning for evaluating the effects of process and tool parameters

The work presented in this paper examines the effects of cutting parameters (cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut) and tool parameters (nose radius and rake angle) onto the surface roughness through the mathematical model while machining AISI 52100 steel. Each parameter was set at three levels.
