ANT–AODV Hybrid Protocol for MANETs
Anupriya P, Suba J
Reconfigurable wireless networks are called Ad hoc Networks, whose topology is continuously changing, self –adapting to the connectivity and propagation conditions and to the traffic and user mobility patterns. Mobile ad hoc networks are networks formed by mobile hosts without any infrastructure. This project combines the on demand routing capability of Ad Hoc – On demand Distance vector (AODV) routing protocol with a distributed topology discovery mechanism using ant like mobile agents.

Screening of auto antibodies using indirect immuno fluorescence in autoimmune predisposed individuals
Sunitha KG, Anban ST, Bharani K, Seena Raghunathan, Soji Cyriac
Autoimmune diseases arise from an inappropriate immune response of the body to its own cell components. The body loses its ability to distinguish between self and non-self thereby auto-antibodies against own cellular components are produced. These auto-antibodies were screened using Antinuclear antibody test (ANA) and characteristic patterns so formed were visualized using Immuno Fluorescent microscopy (IF).

Isolation and identification of secondary metabolites producing organisms from marine sponge
Niyaz Ahamed MI
Sponges are among the simplest of multicellular animals and often described as the most primitive of all. This study is focused on the identification of the organisms which produce secondary metabolites and extraction of metabolites from marine sponges which exhibit antibacterial activities. This work also analyzes the confirmation of the secondary metabolites by thin layer chromatography.

In-silico analysis and identification of Bordetella sp. from domestic waste water
Geetha S, Brindha V
Discharge of house hold waste water into surface water may present a variety of concerns such as high biochemical oxygen demand, significant nutrient inputs, high suspended solids, ecosystem disturbance and health hazard due to potential pathogens. House hold waste water consists of black water (urine and faeces) and grey water from the kitchen, bathroom and washing machine.
