Focus and Scope

Indian Journal of arts is a peer-reviewed open-access journal covering all areas of arts, humanities and social sciences. It provides a pioneering international forum for the publication of research, policy and best practice within the interdisciplinary field of arts, humanities and social sciences.

The journal is interdisciplinary in its reflection of teaching and learning contexts and also in its representation of artistic approaches and practices. It provides a platform for those who wish to question and evaluate the ways in which art education is practiced, disseminated and interpreted across a diverse range of educational contexts.

Indian Journal of arts seeks to promote and disseminate the knowledge by publishing original research findings, review articles, case study, analysis, perspectives, appraisal and short communications in the broad field of arts, humanities and social sciences.

Publication Frequency

Indian Journal of Arts published quarterly (4 issues per year) on regular basis. All papers are published as soon as they have been accepted, by adding them to the "current" volume's Table of Contents.

Open Access Policy

The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. It is available online for FREE to all readers. No pre-registration is required and there are no 'logins' and 'passwords'.
